It was a lovely sunny afternoon. Bill and Ann were having a picnic in the park with their dog Snowy. They felt very relaxed.
-“It’s so good to get out of the house for a change”- said Ann.
-“It will be better if you stop complaining of your home atmosphere, about our dog, about my socks lying everywhere, what else do you want? Maybe you want a star from the sky or…or a Moon. Or no…no! I know you want me to tell you, that you aren’t fat, not a fat big animal! I love you Annie, but I can’t stand your constant discontent. It seems, that you hate everything in our life. I am waiting for you for hours and you’re shouting at me, that I’m not ready! I’m cleaning our flat, you come after the work and the first phrase you say is “What a mess?!” How long are you going to torture me?”
Ann looked at him with complete misunderstanding.
-“Well, to begin with…so I am not fat and I know it. And there is a bog cloud over you, maybe we should go home?”
-“OK my little curmudgeon. But…where is Snowy?”
-“Look, he is swimming in the dirt!”
-“It’s just a dirt.”
-“Tell it to our new carpet.”
-“Look, it’s raining. Hurry up, we will be wet.”
-“Damn this dog! He will stay outside!”
Bill and Ann put their picnic blanket on the living room floor and sat down. They were relieved to be out of the rain and glad that their food was still dry.
-“Perhaps, being in the house isn’t so bad after all”, said Bill.
-“Really?! Tell it to our poor Snowy!”
But their poor Snowy was glad too. He finally found some dirt.
